Mi Casa Su Casa: Dining Room

Thought I'd share another piece de resistance from our work in progress...  This is our dining room table (which I am OBSESSED with)!  It is an antique reproduction that has a built in butterfly leaf which makes taking the leaf out not such a chore.  Without the leaf, it seats 8 and with the leaf, 10.  I love how weathered and old the wood looks.  You also are getting a glimpse at our seagrass rug.  I wasn't sure if I was going to be crazy about it at first but natural fibers are winning me over.  Once our dining room chairs finally arrive (it has been a BATTLE) this room will be one step closer to completion!  Don't mind the chandelier, it will eventually be replaced.
