And now... I present my newest weekly feature, Blog Du Jour, complete with interviews from the bloggers! First up, Aspiring Kennedy who I chose because her blog inspires me while cracking me up at the same time. Since I live a pretty vanilla life, I love to read about her travels and tales of the cultured life. I know you will enjoy Aspiring Kennedy as much as I do. If you like what you see, please don't be afraid to become a follower or comment... I love to hear from you and my followers are feeling lonely :)
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

What made you start blogging?
My friends, Beth (hello splendor) and Laura (Something Legit) are both big bloggers. To play "my part" in our group, I often provide the WASP-iest, prudest, and snottiest replies to my friend's life problems... mainly to make them laugh and mainly because I'm serious. Imagine me as a weird love child of Haley Mills & Danny Devito.
I can't tell you how much I love it now, but my husband is notably concerned.
Laura (Something Legit) sent out an email to our group of friends about a website called Hipster Wife Hunting and long email thread ensued about what friends of ours we could submit. I replied and said that I was the least likely candidate for this site, and that in fact my application was still under review at www.aspiringkennedy.com
An hour later, Laura called and mentioned she couldn't find the site. I laughed and told her it was just something I had made up to be funny for the email.
Another hour later, she had started my blog for me with this name.
It really couldn't be any more perfect.
If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would it be?
Kate Moss. I would love to see what it's like to be able to refuse food. I just can't agree with her motto: Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. She obviously has never had parmesan risotto.

I skipped dinner, but just downed a bottle of champagne with my husband on the balcony of our hotel in Portugal.
It started as a way to enjoy the sunset, but turned it into a cozy night with the mini bar.
{That may say a little too much about me.}
What is something most people don't know about you?

I love Puccini's operas more than most things in life.
I can also lick my elbow.
My husband, Tyler, & I love Lucca, Italy. It's our secret spot, so don't tell anyone. :) Lucca has everything you could want in a Tuscan town- but it's not touristy. Oh, it's divine. We are headed there in a few days for a little R&R before school starts back up at Oxford in October.
What 5 people would be in your circle for spin the bottle?

As cliche as this may sound, I have to tell you: God. My faith gives me the confidence to face anything, enjoy everything, and love everyone. I have been the luckiest girl I know in all standards of the world. Seriously. I've traveled more than anyone I know, the coolest family on the planet, have too much money, more friends than I can manage, and decent head of hair on me. {I'm sorry to sounds obnoxious... but bare with me, friends.}
Yet they all pale in comparison to the fulfillment I have in my faith. It's even better than sleeping-in, curled up in high thread count sheets with my hottie man, Tyler.
I promise.
